Description
The PERFORMANCE 8ATC is the PERFORMANCE 8 with the tool changing handled by the machine. A typical cabinet or furniture job uses several bits: a roughing pass, a finishing pass, a drill and a profile cut. With six tool positions loaded, the machine changes tools without a manual tool change, and every tool change is the same every time.
Who the PERFORMANCE 8ATC suits
Shops that run repeat production and want to reduce manual tool changes and operator interruption. If you do not need a tool changer, the PERFORMANCE 8 delivers the same cutting performance without it.

What we see most often
The tool changer saves time only when the tool library is organised. Shops that label every position, record tool lengths and keep a standard set of bits for their common jobs see the benefit in the first week. Shops that do not, spend the savings on re-measuring. Set up the library as part of commissioning.
