Description
The DISCOVERY 2 keeps the compact footprint of the DISCOVERY 1 and doubles the cutting length. That extra 12″ changes what the machine can do: longer signs, shelf parts, instrument components, trays and batches of small parts laid out on a single sheet. It is built for makers who run repeat jobs and want each part to match the last.
Who the DISCOVERY 2 suits
Small product makers, sign makers and workshops that produce short runs from a benchtop machine. If your parts are mostly under 12″ in both directions, the DISCOVERY 1 does the same work in a smaller footprint. If you cut full panels, move up to the DISCOVERY 8.

What we see most often
Repeat work exposes workholding more than it exposes the machine. Owners who start running batches on a DISCOVERY 2 usually add a vacuum hold down kit or lateral clamps within the first few months, because fast, consistent loading matters more than cutting speed on short runs. Plan for workholding at the same time as the machine.
