Description
The ACADEMY 2 is designed for shared teaching spaces. It sits in a matte black cabinet with interlocking safety doors, and its locking casters let a school move it between classrooms. The education package adds the software, training and accessories a program needs on day one.
Who this package suits
Schools that share one machine across classrooms, and programs where safety and visibility matter as much as cutting capacity. The 12″ × 24″ area suits longer signs, boards and project parts than the ACADEMY 1.
What is included
- ACADEMY 2 enclosed CNC: 12″ × 24″ work area, 1 HP air-cooled spindle, eCNC controller with 7″ touchscreen, LED kit
- Machine stand and toolbox
- CNC maintenance kit
- 110 dust shoe
- Lateral clamp kit
- Amana Spektra 9-piece bit set with 1/4″ shank
- VCarve Desktop with a 40-seat site license
- EMPOWER[ED] ACADEMY site license: a 16 module CAD and CNC video training series for teachers, with teacher certification

Options: on-site setup and on-site training are available. The ACADEMY 2 is already fully enclosed and has no ATC option. What we see most often
Schools often focus on the machine and overlook the route it has to travel. At 573 lbs, doorways, ramps and floor transitions should be measured before delivery. A short walk-through with your facilities team saves a surprise on install day.
