Simply Technologies education packages bring a CNC machine, the software and the teacher training together so a school can start a program with one order. Every package includes a machine stand, toolbox, CNC maintenance kit, dust shoe, lateral clamp kit, an Amana Spektra 9-piece bit set, a 40-seat VCarve site license, EMPOWER[ED] ACADEMY and shipping by lift gate truck in North America, with some exceptions.

What EMPOWER[ED] ACADEMY includes

EMPOWER[ED] ACADEMY is a teacher training and certification platform, delivered as a 16-module CAD and CNC video training series. It is included with education packages. It certifies teachers; it is not a student certification.

Choosing the right package

Start with the room and the power. The ACADEMY packages are already fully enclosed and run on a standard 110V, 15A circuit in North America. The DISCOVERY 8, PERFORMANCE 8 and PERFORMANCE 16 packages have larger work areas for shop programs and require a dedicated 220–240V single-phase supply in North America. Confirm the required circuit, plug and available voltage with our team before ordering.

Canadian school installations require a fully enclosed, CSA-approved CNC configuration. United States requirements vary by state and local jurisdiction. Talk With Our Team and we will match a package to your space and your program.

Do the packages include an enclosure or a tool changer? The ACADEMY 1 and ACADEMY 2 are already fully enclosed and have no ATC option, and the DISCOVERY 8 has no ATC configuration. PERFORMANCE ATC configurations are separate machine models.
