Hi friends!
My name is Stephen Michutka (a few of you may know me as The Wood Pastor, though admittedly, I am NOT an actual pastor!). I suppose that I am now the newest member of the Simply Technologies team, residing in Lumberton, TX. I just wanted to share a little bit about MY story, as I am sure I will have the opportunity to hear many of yours over the next few years!
I joined Simply Technologies because I genuinely believe in what we’re doing. The company makes a solid, high-quality product, but what really stood out to me was the focus on making sure people know how to actually use it. That matters to me. I love helping people learn and grow, and this place is all about that.
Once I started working with a CNC, I was hooked. I fell in love with creating anything and everything; there’s just something about taking an idea and turning it into something real with your own hands (and a pretty cool machine). For me, CNC has become a creative outlet that’s not only fun, but something you can actually build a career with.
I’ve got a background in early childhood education, and I’ve always been passionate about teaching, especially youth. I see so much potential in helping kids and teens learn practical skills, gain confidence, and explore creativity through tech like this.
I’m also really big on connection. As an active member of my church (thus where the “pastor” name comes from), building relationships and community is a huge part of who I am. CNC technology has this cool way of bringing people together, whether it’s through a shared project, a workshop, or just geeking out over design ideas. I love that.
Simply Technologies gives me a space to do all the things I love: create, teach, connect, and grow. And honestly? I’m just excited to keep learning and having fun along the way. And hopefully, I can share some of that with you: creating, teaching, connecting, and growing.
