The latest Mira 7 and Mira 9 professional benchtop CO2 lasers include the safety of a fully interlocked case and keyed ignition, thus transforming the Mira into a Class 1 laser, the highest safety rating possible. The new design preserves the best features from the previous generation, such as the Clean Pack Design and cutting edge high speeds, while adding some finishing touches, like a fire resistant tempered glass lid, gas shocks and rubber seals.
Great emphasis was placed on improving the cutting capabilities and the various components required to do so. The entire work table has been overhauled and replaced with a motorized blade table that is fitted with a downdraft exhaust system similar to what you would find in our Nova Pro Series. The exhaust fan and air assist pump have also been upgraded to help with improving airflow and increasing cutting efficiency. Equipped with a built-in fan cooled water chiller (Mira 7) or a vapor compression water chiller (Mira 9), the Mira Pro models are ready to take your laser engraving and cutting abilities to the next level.

Software
Quickly recall or layout simple designs with the included RDWorks software or upgrade to LightBurn for an enhanced user experience. For those already familiar with graphic design, simply import graphics directly from CorelDraw, AutoCAD and Illustrator via the handy plugins.
Red Dot Pointer
Mirror alignment has never been easier thanks to an inline beam combiner that also serves as an accurate red dot pointer. This visual aid eliminates any guesswork by allowing you to place items inside the machine and quickly position them for accuracy.

What’s the Difference Between the Mira 9 and Mira 9S Redline?
The standard Mira 9 uses a traditional CO2 glass laser tube. The Mira 9S Redline upgrades to a higher-speed motion system and improved hardware package, designed for shops that push the machine hard or need faster cycle times.
If you’re cutting and engraving daily for production, ask us about the Redline. If you’re a shop, school, or maker doing mixed work, the standard Mira 9 is likely all you need.
Is the Mira 9 Right for Your Shop?

What is the difference between the Mira 9 and the Mira 9S Redline?

Does the Mira 9 work with LightBurn?
Yes. The Mira 9 is fully LightBurn compatible. LightBurn is what most of our customers use. We can walk you through the setup.
What materials can the Mira 9 cut and engrave?
Wood, MDF, acrylic, leather, fabric, rubber, foam, paper, cardboard, coated/anodized metals (engraving only), and glass (engraving only). It cannot cut metal.
Do I need a water chiller for the Mira 9?
Yes. The glass tube CO2 laser requires water cooling. Simply Technologies carries radiator water chillers as an add-on — we recommend purchasing one with the machine.
