Choosing add-ons

Add on-site setup when the machine is going into a room without a technical person on staff, and on-site training when teachers want hands-on time before the first class. The ACADEMY 1 and ACADEMY 2 are already fully enclosed and have no ATC option, and the DISCOVERY 8 does not have an ATC configuration. Do I need an auto tool changer to start? No. Education packages include a machine, stand, toolbox, bit set and software without one, and tool changer availability depends on the exact machine model.

Can on-site training replace EMPOWER[ED] ACADEMY? No. EMPOWER[ED] ACADEMY is included in education packages as teacher training and certification. On-site training is an additional option.

What enclosure does a school need? Canadian school installations require a fully enclosed, CSA-approved CNC configuration. United States requirements vary by state and local jurisdiction.
